The very first year after its incorporation, Kind Theory celebrates the Autism Acceptance Day by featuring autistic young adults Quincy Hansen, Alexander Aldridge and Niko Boskovic. Join us as our panel participants share their experience with transformative technology and how it has helped them. They also share their expectations about the future of Transformative Tech.

Kind Theory Host: Dr. Laura Z. Weldon

Laura Z. Weldon, ND, MS (she/they) earned both her doctorate in naturopathic medicine and a master’s degree in integrative mental health from the National University of Natural Medicine. She completed her undergraduate degree in english literature at Columbia University and her post-bacc pre-med at the University of Louisville.

Laura is an autistic human who loves exploring how people think, feel, sense, and connect. She has several chronic conditions, including hypermobile Ehlers-Danlos syndrome, POTS, MCAS, SIBO, and migraines, and also advocates for #DocsWithDisabilities.

Kind Theory Moderator: Morenike Giwa Onaiwu

Morénike Giwa Onaiwu, PhD(c), MA is a global advocate, educator, disabled person of color, and parent of children on the autism spectrum in a neurodiverse, multicultural, twice-exceptional serodifferent family.

Morénike is a prolific writer and social scientist/activist whose work focuses on intersectional justice, meaningful community involvement, human rights, and inclusion.

Morénike is recognized as a leader in various social justice activism endeavors.

She is a highly sought after public speaker, trainer, and consultant who has presented at the White House, the United Nations, and numerous peer-reviewed international conferences.
