We are bringing you an event this October that you don’t want to miss! Sensory Fun with KindTheory is designed specifically for neurodivergent kids to enjoy sensory-based activities in a safe and engaging environment. With multiple sensory stations, the event offers opportunities for kids to explore, relax, and connect.

In partnership with Heart and Harmony Music Therapy, this station features a musical circle where kids can explore sound using different instruments. There will also be a “Create Your Own Headphone Charm” activity, plus take-home resources for auditory support and sensory experiences.
The goal is to provide a variety of fun and engaging auditory experiences.
Bright Colors and Lights, Patterns, Visual Art, Optical Illusion, Interactive Elements. The goal is to provide a fun, rich, stimulating, and engaging visual experience.
Diffusers, Scented Clay and Playdough, Herb and Spice Games, Candles and Scented Water Sprays. The goal is to provide a diverse range of smells for exploration and enjoyment
Textured Materials, Sensory Balls, Sand and Water Tables, Fidget Toys, Interactive Panels. The goal is to provide a a range of tactile experiences for sensory exploration, stimulation and fun!
Swings, Resistance Bands, Slides, Games, Blankets, Weighted Vests, The goal is to help children develop a sense of their body’s position and movement while having fun!
Andrea Holmes
Andrea Holmes will be bringing her exciting Paint by Numbers experience to our Sensory Fun Event!
Andrea Holmes, a remarkable mural artist and painter from Texas, sees painting as more than just creating art—it’s her way of infusing joy into everyday life. As she puts it, “I don’t paint because I’m joyful, but because I need joy.” Her work, known for its vibrant colors and bold expressions, reflects her passion for happiness, and she’s committed to spreading that joy to everyone around her.
With over a decade of painting experience, Andrea became a full-time artist in 2017. She co-hosts the Birdtober challenge, co-founded My Fairy Art Mother, and plays a vital role in the MillHouse McKinney Art Events Team. Her formal education includes an Associate’s in Art and a Bachelor’s in Arts and Technology, making her a true force of creativity and inspiration.
